Founded in 2006 under the mission “To Challenge Complexity”, Closer Consulting is a Data Science company specialising in Business Intelligence, Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence.

By developing projects in the most diverse industries – Banking, Telecommunications, Health, Retail, Energy, Insurance or Aviation – we analyze data, transforming it into knowledge for our clients, allowing them to adopt the best decision-making for their respective organizations and businesses.

We are now looking for a Data Analyst willing to accept new challenges in Lisbon or Porto in our Closer team.

Are you the one?

Data modelling and design
Dashboard and report development in PowerBI
Data analysis in PowerBI and SQL
Working with data and analytics experts to design appropriate solutions for data analysis use cases. Skills that the candidate brings
Advanced working knowledge in SQL and experience working with databases and data warehousing, query authoring (SQL)
Advanced skills in PowerBI for report development and data analysis (or alternatively Tableau or d3)
Solid skills in data modelling, especially dimensional modelling.
Good understanding of Power BI architecture, design, development and end user experience
Strong academic background including a bachelor’s degree in IT or business-related course of study
Proficient with Statistical analysis and data analysis techniques
Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.
Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
